One of the very oldest names in Cigars, the H. Uppman brand was named after its creator, banker Herman Upmann. Rolled originally in the Jose Marti Factory, H. Upmann pioneered the use of cedar boxes for cigar distribution. In nineteen twenty two both the Upmann bank and the Upmann cigar company went bankrupt. The brand changed hands until its acquisition in 1955 by Menendez y Garcia, the original maker of the Monte Cristo brands.
The Regalia is a fine cigar with an elegant, smooth, but complex flavour, which becomes bolder and spicier as the cigar burns. The Regalia is rolled with tobacco grown in the Vuelta Abajo region.
